Founder and Principal
I founded Marathon Financial to build the kind of advisory practice I believe clients deserved—one focused on precision and a commitment to doing things the right way. From the beginning, the philosophy has been simple: be great over big.
Marathon Financial works with corporate professionals, physicians, attorneys, and business owners across the country who value a thoughtful and customized planning approach. The practice has grown very deliberately, with a focus on maintaining a high level of attention, continuity, and proactive advice for each client relationship.
Over nearly two decades as a financial advisor, I’ve come to believe that effective planning is not about reacting to markets or chasing outcomes—it’s about helping clients make informed decisions in a complex and often uncertain environment. My role is to serve as a steady, informed partner through that process.
That perspective is shaped in part by personal experience. I grew up in a middle-class family and worked my way through college, which instilled a respect for discipline and long-term thinking. I also witnessed the impact of poor financial advice within my extended family—experiences that inform my commitment to providing thoughtful and transparent guidance aligned with my clients’ best interests.
I studied economics and finance at The University of Massachusetts Boston and financial planning at Boston University, and I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. These foundations, combined with years of experience working with clients through market cycles and major life decisions, inform the advice I provide today.
I divide my time between Boston and New York City. Outside of my work with clients, I enjoy strength training, healthy eating, traveling and exploring the geography and culture of new destinations, spending time with friends and family, and attending music events and festivals of nearly all genres.
